ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

The Entrance Examination for Primary Years (Grades 3-6) for September 2018 will be held on Saturday, February 03, 2018. Application forms are available from the Primary Years Office.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

After School Care will begin on Monday, January 08, 2018. After School is held Mondays to Thursdays 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications are available in the Primary Years Office.

METHODIST SCHOOLS SUNDAY

On Sunday, January 21, 2018 Primary Years students and staff will attend and participate in Methodist Schools Sunday at Trinity Methodist Church. A detailed letter will be sent home next week.

SPORTS DAY

Primary Years Sports Day is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Sports Day will be held at The Thomas A. Robinson Track and Field Stadium. More details forthwith.

BROWNIE CLUB

Brownie applications are now available in the Primary Years’ office. Meetings will be held on Thursdays from 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. in Mrs. Johnson’s class - 4Q. Please note girls must be 7 in order to enroll. Brownies will start next week Thursday, October 5, 2017.

EARLY DISMISSAL

Parents are reminded that school ends at 3:00 p.m. Every effort should be made to reduce the interruption throughout the day by requesting that your child leaves school before 3:00 p.m. In the event that an early dismissal is unavoidable, parents must send a note to the teacher in advance. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. An exit note must be obtained from the Primary Years Office, and be given to the security at the gate when a student is leaving school early.

RAINY WEATHER

When it rains, students in Primary Years will be held in their classrooms until 3:30p.m. Parents can collect their child from their classrooms, after 3:30p.m. students will be brought to the tunnel area where they will wait to be collected.

TIES

Please be reminded that it is mandatory for the boys in Grades 4 – 6 to wear neckties. The ties can only be purchased at ‘The Galaxy’.

PETER PAN BLOUSE

Girls in Grades 3-6 are required to wear a white ‘Peter Pan’ collar blouse under their shift uniform. Thank you for your cooperation in both matters.

LUNCH PROGRAMME FOR GRADE THREE STUDENTS

Lunch orders should be submitted with correct funds on Friday and Monday mornings ONLY. We can no longer accept orders on other days. Please send correct change.

GLAT RESULTS

GLAT results are available at the Primary Years Office. Parents of Grades 4 and 7 are asked to collect their GLAT results. Parents must sign to indicate that they have received the results. Results WILL NOT be issued to students.
