NEW PARENTS MEETING

There will be an information session for parents whose child/children will be new to the Primary Years in September 2018. Present Grade Two parents are cordially invited to attend. The session will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. in the Primary School Hall. We encourage all new parents to attend this important session as information will be provided for the smooth transition into Primary Years. Parents will be taken on a student -guided tour after the information session.

SWIMMING

Swimming has resumed for all students in Primary Years after the Easter Break. Students will swim on the days they would have had Track & Field. Parents are asked to ensure that their child has the correct swimming kit on the appropriate day.

REVIEW PRACTICE BOOKLETS FOR THE GLAT EXAMS

Grades Three and Six GLAT Booklets are available from the Primary Years Office. All students are required to purchase these booklets as homework and class assignments are expected to be completed from the booklets.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

After School Care will begin on Monday, January 08, 2018. After School is held Mondays to Thursdays 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications are available in the Primary Years Office.

EARLY DISMISSAL

Parents are reminded that school ends at 3:00 p.m. Every effort should be made to reduce the interruption throughout the day by requesting that your child leaves school before 3:00 p.m. In the event that an early dismissal is unavoidable, parents must send a note to the teacher in advance. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. An exit note must be obtained from the Primary Years Office, and be given to the security at the gate when a student is leaving school early.

RAINY WEATHER

When it rains, students in Primary Years will be held in their classrooms until 3:30p.m. Parents can collect their child from their classrooms, after 3:30p.m. students will be brought to the tunnel area where they will wait to be collected.

TIES

Please be reminded that it is mandatory for the boys in Grades 4 – 6 to wear neckties. The ties can only be purchased at ‘The Galaxy’.

PETER PAN BLOUSE

Girls in Grades 3-6 are required to wear a white ‘Peter Pan’ collar blouse under their shift uniform. Thank you for your cooperation in both matters.
